How the 5Steps works

Have you ever felt driven into a corner by a problem? Ran out of ways to solve problem? Or simply don't know where is to start? The 5Steps is about giving a hand in solving problems. I'd be lying if I said I can help each and every one who reads this blog. What I can do is share one of the most important lessons in my life.

The 5Steps is a template. That means it put it in a variety of context and be used. It doesn't matter if the problem is related to work or is a personal problem. The 5Steps will give a structure or a form to solving the problem.

It also works as a process. So start at the top. No matter where you are in your problem, start with Step1, admitting that there is a problem, then apply each of the following steps. Try to get to where you think you are right now. See if going through the 5Steps gives you a different perspective once you reach there.

The 5steps can be taken slowly and thoughtfully or they could be gone through quickly for daily use. You can spend as much time as you need on each step or breeze through to reach the good parts. Practicing them often makes it easier to apply to all sorts of problems. After a while it will become second nature and you will know how much detail to put in each step. If you are stuck, read some of my posts to find inspiration, ideas or techniques that may help you. Leave me a comment. I'd love to hear what you think.
